Your vehicle is a significant investment and we want to help you get every single mile out of it. That is especially important with pre-owned vehicles.

Used Powertrain Care Plus

Factory-Backed; Confidence Assured

Mopar Vehicle Protection Plans for pre-owned vehicles offer great coverage. Powertrain Care Plus^SM provides economical protection for repairs of major powertrain components, along with air conditioning and steering repairs. These Plans are available in a variety of terms, so choose the length of coverage that is best for you!

Plan Terms

Coverage ranges from 1 to 5 years, with mileage intervals of 12,000, 15,000 or unlimited miles.

Vehicle Eligibility

Coverage exists for vehicles that are within 10 model years. Vehicle eligibility varies based on existing warranty. Pre- existing conditions are not covered. All Pre-Owned vehicles must be inspected prior to sale of Plan. See your dealer to confirm vehicle eligibility.

Choose Your Deductible

Mopar Vehicle Protection's Powertrain Plans allow you to choose a $100 or $200 repair deductible per visit.

3-Month/3,000-Mile Limited Warranty Upgrade

All Pre-Owned Plans may be added to Mopar Vehicle Protection Plans, 3-Month/3,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty or Month/3,000-Mile Added Care^SM Limited Warranty.

Features and Benefits

When Plan Coverage Begins and Ends

Plan coverage starts on the date you purchase the Plan and continues for the time duration as specified by the terms of the selected Plan.

First Day Rental

Provides a $45 First Day Car Rental Allowance or Taxi Reimbursement for any dealership mechanical repair or maintenance service (excluding bodywork).

Car Rental Allowance

Will pay up to $45 per day ($225 maximum per occurrence) for Car Rental or Taxi Reimbursement on contracts issued on or after August 2, 2022, anytime a component covered by the Plan or Basic Warranty fails, causing the vehicle to be inoperable and repairs take overnight.

$100 Towing Allowance

Will pay up to $100 per occurrence for towing to the nearest Chrysler Group dealer anytime a component covered by the Plan fails, requiring the vehicle to be towed. Towing charges in excess of the amount allowed by the Plan are your responsibility.

Personalized Plan Provisions

Upon receipt and approval of a Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan application form, you will be mailed personalized Plan provisions. They will identify you and your vehicle to the servicing dealer as being eligible for Plan service.

Transfer Policy

A Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan can make your vehicle more valuable and easier to sell. Remaining Plan coverage may be transferred to the subsequent purchaser of the vehicle at the time of vehicle sale. A $100 Plan transfer fee will be applied (in most states).

Exclusions to Coverage

The Mopar Powertrain Vehicle Protection Plan offers your basic mechanical coverage, but it is important to know what isn't covered. Here are some examples:

Generally Covered by Your Auto Insurance: Examples include fixed (non-moving) body parts, bumpers, glass, molding, ornamentation, paint, rust, sheet metal, structural underbody framework, side and rearview mirrors (glass and housing), water leaks, wind noise, weather strips, wheels, wheel studs, wheel covers, convertible top, and bow.
