Commercial Maximum Care and Added Care Plus Plans
Vehicles used for commercial purposes and all Ram Cab and Chassis applications within 36 months and 36,000 miles of the in-service date are eligible for New Commercial Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan extended service warranties. Mopar Vehicle Protection defines commercial use as any of the following:
- Any vehicle registered and utilized for commercial use.
- Incomplete vehicle or vehicle equipped with a utility modification.
- Any vehicle deemed as commercial by Mopar or selling dealer based on customer intended of use.
Eligible Vehicles
Examples of commercial vehicles include those used for delivery, service, repair work, landscaping and grounds maintenance, shuttle service, snow removal and vehicles for hire. Example modifications include but not limited to: cherry pickers, mechanical hoisting and pulling apparatuses for towing wrecked, disabled or stalled vehicles, flatbeds, box delete trucks and snow plows. Usage must not exceed manufacturer's ratings and/or limitations.
Commercial applications also include but are not limited to Ram, Ford and General Motors one-ton pickups used for business purposes, one-ton Cab and Chassis applications, stake trucks, dump trucks, wrecker/tow trucks, other body lifts such as tank or vacuum installations, cherry pickers and glass carriers.
Ineligible Vehicles
Vehicles used as motor homes; taxis, Ubers, Lyfts, limousines and other for-hire passenger transporting vehicles; ambulance, fire, police, security and postal vehicles (except FCA US vehicles); and dump trucks are not eligible for commercial or personal MVP service plans.

New Commercial Plans
New vehicle commercial Maximum Care (5,000+ parts) coverage provides complete mechanical component coverage for the length of Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan with a $100, $200 or $500 deductible per repair visit.
New commercial Add Care Plus (850+ parts) coverage includes components of engine, transmission, drivetrain, steering, air conditioning, brakes, anti-lock brakes, electrical, engine cooling and fuel, instrumentation, the power group, front and rear suspensions, luxury group and extended electrical systems with a $100, $200 or $500 deductible per repair visit.
New Commercial Maximum Care and Added Care Plus are offered in a 5-terms for 100,000, 150,000 and 200,000 miles at an affordable cost. Both New Commercial Maximum Care and Added Care Plus are also available for 7-year terms from 60,000 miles up to150,000 miles.
Other Plan Features
Both new commercial Mopar Vehicle Protection Plans feature $100 “Sign-And-Go” Roadside Assistance, $100 Towing Allowance, $45 First-Day Rental, $45 per Day Car Rental Allowance, $1,000 Trip Interruption Coverage and $100 transfer alternative in most states. Diesel surcharges apply to both new plans.
Pre-Owned Commercial Plans
Commercial vehicles, 2019 to the current model year, past 36 months and/or 36,000 miles of the in-service date with no more than 150,000 miles are eligible for Mopar Commercial Pre-Owned Added Care Plus (850+ parts) coverage with a $500 deductible per repair visit.
